Welcome

The mission of the Monmouth County Democratic Women’s Caucus (MCDWC) is to:

  • increase women’s participation in the Monmouth County Democratic Organization;
  • build a sustainable women’s political power base; and
  • influence policy and the political process.

As more women are elected into office, we have a greater opportunity to have a fair and just representation for all people, not based upon gender, race or religion.

The Women's Caucus will provide and guide the Three E's for success:

  • Education:  Make sure that resources are easily available to explain the political process on running for office, which will help increase the number of women elected in Monmouth County.
  • Empowerment:  Create policies that will impact women of many cultures, allowing us to reach a cross section of demographics, promoting diversity.
  • Economic Success:  Provide financial support through fundraisers to insure that democratic women candidates will have seed money available for their campaigns.
